It’s time for Google Maps to stop its blocking in Israel!

Hi @EyalD , Israel is actually part of a conflict, and this is a normal action for Google Maps to block edits in contended area, “to help protect the safety of local communities and their citizens”. (source: We’re thinking of our community in Ukraine, Europe and beyond)
As you can read in the mentioned posts: “Out of an abundance of caution and with safety in mind, teams are removing user contributions like photos, videos, reviews, and business information and all user-submitted places from Google Maps”
This is a standard procedure for areas where a conflict is ongoing.
On the meantime Google was taking also direct actions for helping people: Israel-Hamas war: $8 million in relief.
Hopefully this difficult situation will end soon, so to have everything back to normal

In addition to the reply from @ErmesT GPS location is current blocked/spoofed in Israel by Israel. Without GPS Maps is next to useless.
