Issues with posting a negative review

Hello,

I am trying to ratw my landlords rental business because I almost died getting electrocuted due to their negligence, multiple times.

My initial review is not showing up at all, I do not know why. I edited multiple times to shorten it or to delete some of the pictures.

Still nothing.

My friends similar use of language and reviews for the same person’s business went through. They basically said I have a friend with experienced this and then they posted my experience.

Their reviews were accepted, mine not. It was just a test.

This is a life-threatening situation so I would really like to go through and post this review.

Do you have any tips?

I am a local guide, it’s not the first time I read a business in Amsterdam or in San Francisco or whatever I’ve lived all these years. I’m a real person, I didn’t do any spamming at all.

It sounds like you have a serious issue with your landlord. Google Maps is not the place to post reviews in such cases. Please consider using the legal system.

Revence reviews are often written in the heat of the moment, and the spam filter can easily be triggered by the wordings used in such situations. You need to stick to the facts and leave out emotional information. It is not a problem to post negative reviews, if you are careful to be objective and present facts and don’t get personal.

Your friends review based on your experience should be taken down. We can only post reviews based on our own/personal experiences.

It is better to seek a solution to the issue via other means when emotions are running high. Or at least wait a few weeks til calmness and objectivity is restored before writing a review on Google Maps.

And by the way, places for rent should not even be on Google Maps unless there is an office on site with staff at regular office hours.

The true story, @user_not_found , is that the review written by your friend should be removed, because she’s not mentioning a personal experience, but probably she’s simply writing the review in a polite way, and there is a second review that seems not to be originale.

According to the number of Likes, the two reviews have several supporters. Should we expect more reviews?

Regarding the issue with your review, please read carefully the reply given by @MortenCopenhagen . Also please consider that a review is not a way to solve issues with a business
