Since the launch of Road Mapper in 2021, our passionate contributors have mapped over 1.5 million kilometers of roads and enabled more than 200 million people to navigate with Google Maps. Their contributions have made a real difference in people’s lives worldwide.
We’re excited to announce that we’re opening access to more contributors so that we can continue to improve our maps. There are still many challenges to complete, but we’re confident that with your help, we can make Google Maps the best it can be.

Might try my hands on road mappers again or even organise some team work on road mappers soon.
I’m not sure if this is accessbile for totally blind people like me. I think I can’t draw a road by using text and if this is the case, I unfortunately think I can’t be of any help.

Very good news for those who like to trace roads and makes the map more relevant it is man @SholaIB is to be encouraged in this area because he was the one who helped me add my first route on Google Maps
Hi @Mike_G I will be happy to be a part of Road Mapper for sure. Going to read the Road Mapper FAQs and the other article since i am new and don’t know how to do this. Definitely would like to learn and help Google in any way i can. Thanks for sharing.
