Hello LG,
We have been discussing many mouth-watering dishes from our favorite restaurants, but we all forgot that we had been sharing our own-cooked or home-cooked dishes earlier, especially during the pandemic!
If anyone has forgotten or is new to this, here are some examples of my favorite dishes:
- Paneer masala Tikka by @rosykolhi
- Kadhmba Sambar Sadham by @Gurukrishnapriya mam
- The king od fruit - Mango desert by @Rohan10
- Peanut candies Home made by @SholaIB
- Anjeer Chutney by @Supriyadevkar
There are many such delicious dishes shared by many local guides here, but we have forgotten them over the period of time.
So, let’s get together again as the festivals are approaching and share our own-cooked or home-cooked favorite delicacies! Let’s begin with the series rather than the challenge and set up some pointers for that, should we?
It’s time to flaunt your #khaanakhazaana! A treasure of favorite foods
The Series:
I would like to invite every local guide to share mouthwatering posts here about the dishes he/she love. It could be a traditional family recipe, a regional delicacy, a healthy appetite dish, or even a unique fusion dish you enjoy. Importantly, it should be own-cooked or home-cooked!
What to Include in Your Post?
- Your favorite dish/cuisine: Name it, describe the flavors, and explain what makes it unique.
- The cooking process: Please share the details of the ingredients used, step-by-step directions, and expert advice! (Photos of ingredients and cooking steps =
).
- Memories and emotions: Why is it your favorite? Was it a childhood memory? What about a festival tradition you love?
- Photos and Videos: Show us the magic in action! Take pictures of the ingredients, the cooking process, and, of course, the finished dish.
How to Join?
- Cook your favorite dish yourself or have it cooked by a member of your family.
- Take and share high-quality photos and videos of the dish, ingredients, or cooking process.
- Write your experience in your original words—no copying from others or using AI-generated content!
- Post your experience here under the “Food & Drink” section using the hashtag #khaanakhazaana.
Exciting Rewards!
The Judges
I would like to take this opportunity to invite our connect moderators, @Globe_trotter_Ish, @NareshDarji, and @TusharSuradkar to join me to shortlist the final 5 entries.
Then, we will have a public poll to determine the best dish for the month.
Currently we will not have separate categories for the types of foods. (Let’s see the responses first!
We shall try and run this series for the next 3 months, and then, based on published responses, we shall continue.
- The top three entries are highlighted on Connect!
- The best cooking photo/video will receive a special badge/sticker!
So why are you waiting now? Gudi Padwa and Ramadan Eid are coming this weekend, and summer is already here. Try some homemade ice creams, milkshakes, mango dishes, and some fine, healthy vegan dishes. Go on, share your khaane ka khazaana with us all!!
Let us come together to celebrate food, flavors, and the joy of cooking!
Who is ready to bring some Khaane ka Khazaana and make us hungry?
