Vasant Utsav is a Spring Festival which we celebrate on the arrival of spring in our country. Noida’s (NCR Delhi) 37th Vasant Utsav Flower Show 2025 was organized by Noida Authority at Helipad Ground, Shivalik park, Sector-33A, Noida. It was inaugurated on February 20, 2025 for four days. The last day is today i.e. February 23, 2025. I visited this show on the day of inauguration (as I generally prefer weekdays to avoid rush) to capture and cherish such a wonderful moment.
The theme of flower show this year is inspired by the Maha Kumbh (Hindu festival signifying the purifying power of sacred rivers). The main attraction of this flower show is a 30-35 ft model of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This model is shown in the cover page of my post. This year there are 40+ Stalls have been established with 350+ floral entries for the competition.
Organizing such events and shows is a great step towards celebrating nature’s beauty and generating awareness about sustainability.
I was stunned to visualize the creativity and thoughtfulness of gardeners with creative minds who have showcased creativity in the show. I have brought some glimpses here so that we all can appreciate and enjoy together.
Being a Tea lover, I liked the Creativity 3 - A model of Kettle and Cup the most.
Let us witness some breathtaking macros of Tulip and other seasonal flowers. These vibrant colours of flowers are unbeatable. This is what nature has gifted us. We are so grateful to nature!
A beautiful display of Waste To Wonder garden in the flower show. This resonate and generate the awareness on sustainability. Let us save our Mother Planet - ‘The Earth’.
There was focussed effort to make the premise Green and Clean. This was clearly visible at the event site. There was an arrangement for waste bins and portable toilets to make the place sustainable.
It was a well-organized flower show where unique plants were presented and also were available for sale. The creativity was on its best and enough to attract the visitors.
A couple of stalls were there for buying tools, fertilizers, Pesticides for flowers and other gardening essentials. There were stalls of small and micro businesses as well including Chaat stall, tea stall, Pickle stall, Flavored milk powder stall, Papad namkeen stall etc.
Some important and helpful pointers and tips for the visitors for the next time:
1. Visit Preference: Visit in early hour of the day to avoid crowd. Bring your own bag to carry the purchased plants and other items. Don’t forget to carry your Camera/Mobile.
