Did you know there are way more water dispensers than we think there are in Singapore? And so many times I choose to buy bottled water instead, or simply bear with the thirst till I reach home. If you can relate to this, join me in my effort to pin more water dispensers onto Singapore’s map! I’m intending to visit hawker centres in this trip, so we can have a nice lunch too Mode of transport will be by bike, so confident cyclists are preferred because we will be cycling along narrow and possibly crowded sidewalks! I have 4 bikes at my house, so I can loan you one if you don’t find it too much of a hassle to have to start and end the meet up at Sengkang. See y’all!
Sounds like a great idea for a meet-up @lynnwee as well as the water dispensers (we call them water fountains, drink taps or colloquially bubblers) you can probably review some great hawker food too. This is a great way to have a lasting impact on your community. I look forward to your recap photos.
Can absolutely relate to this - in Singapore! Struggled multiple times trying to find a water dispenser, knowing very well that there should be a water dispenser around - only to give up after an unsuccessful search and buying a bottle from a convenience store. Funny thing - I’ve never really figured how to look for one on Google Maps as well!
