After the meetup at Vohuman Cafe in Pune, I, @AjitThite, and @ShubhamWaman walked a lot, chatting over Google Maps and new Connect, supporting small businesses in Pune.
It was getting warm fast, and soon we were feeling thirsty.
So we decided to settle down at a Sugarcane Juice seller on Karve Road. This was exactly opposite the Railway Reservation Center.
The owner shared with us several tips about ice-making and also how to detect whether sugarcane juice is fresh or stale.
We offered him to add his businesses to Google Maps, but they informed us that the shop is open only for a few months of the year. So we decided to get more information about this criterion before going forward.

He told us that sometimes ice is made from drain water, but that was an exaggeration; we did not believe him. Then he said they made ice from filtered water.
@TravellerG
Later, he said that the jaggery made from fresh sugarcane juice will look green. But I don’t remember seeing any green jaggery

Yes, गन्ने का ज्यूस in Hindi
All Maharashtrians learn Hindi in school for at least 5 years.
So everyone understands Hindi even if it is not used commonly.
