My pet is a Dog. I had a dog at my Mom’s house I only got from my friend place 27 years ago before my marriage I used to take care of him, used to take him down for walk,he used get up early morning with me at 7 o’clock I used leave home for school at afternoon when I used to come back he used sit near door before I ring bell he used bark, & as I used to enter he used jump on me, he used have lunch with me .
I used take nap he would also sleep down my bed evening when I used to do prayer he used sit next to me but when I got married I was very sad & when my mom told me he didn’t ate food for few days I felt very bad my husband didn’t like pets so couldn’t keep with me but when ever I visited mom house he used to be very happy but he expired after one year of my marriage. I felt very bad.
Dogs are those 4 legged angels which come in your life unexpectedly and make your life happy and colourful. These little 4 legged furry friend just need our love, care and affection though they can’t be speak but they can understand all your emotions and what your going though.
This lock down changed my life when I met Leila my daughter has always been a dog lover and always kept demanding me a dog but I didn’t want a dog as managing a dog in flat & my husband is Dibetaic patient has wounds on feet Dr advice not keep pets,its quite difficult they also need 24 hour commitment which now it’s not possible for me.
The same situation was at my neighbourhood Sanchita Sharun & his wife Kanika, wanted a dog as lock down was quite boring one day my daughter visited their place and saw a small pup she was so over joyed seeing it the pup was so small and cute she got at our place to show me …
My daughter was so happy she said see mom what anna ( brother) got cute little puppy when I first saw Leila she was a small hardly one month old green eyed pup she came and jumped on me I was bit scared my daughter pick her,then she showed the pup Leila to my husband who hates dogs but Leila has some magic in her eyes my husband was quite happy seeing her I think that’s the magic of a dog it can make a anti dog person in love with them.
A little introduction about Leila my neighbour sharun adopted her ,foster where she and her siblings were rescued from a street her mother had died she is a white and brown Indian breed dog with pretty green eyes. She is truly an entertainment for us during lockdown she is completely trained well vaccine and follow all our command quite well. The best part is she is too hyper first in starting I was too scared of her she used to jump on me to seek attention if I was busy still she does that when I don’t give her the attention. She runs directly in room where she knows my husband is lying on bed and will sit directly next to him and ask for biscuits she loves biscuit and my husband also becomes to happy seeing her if she, is not around we feel bored also she gets super excited seeing my kids and kids love her .
Excitement is too much when she sees my kids. I love her being so energetic always she loves running and jumping also she is quite possessive when my kids hug me she gets super jealous She loves sitting on window mostly she is on window the best part is when my son goes down she is on window keeping a tracking on him she her sitting on window and barking at him so she gets attention.
Leila is 9 months old. A fun loving puppy kids play a lot with her and enjoy with her a lot one day she is not at home our home feels empty she loves to play with ball and a small teddy bear soft toys. She loves going on walks and has visited beach as well she also loves car rides.
It’s truly said if you reverse the word dog it is God. Dogs are truly gods little angel who will fill your life with happiness and remove all your pain.
Also I would like to end my post saying that there are millions of dogs on street and shelter homes so please adopt a dog and give him/ her a loving home instead of buying a dog.
