Hi guys! Thanks in advance for your answers.
I have a level 7 account in local experts. I’m also a Google trusted photographer, sometimes I add panoramas. I never wrote custom reviews or wrote about those places where I have never been or do not know. Half a year has passed since I tried to add a new places and to all my requests I have receive an auto-reject. I read on the forum there are such problems, but could not find a solution.
In addition, I recently noticed that I don’t have enough reviews for the next “Review Expert” badge, I wrote some more of them, they are published and I see them from my account and not only that of my friend and wife, if I were banned, I know then only you see your reviews, while others do not. I lacked 41 out of 50 reviews, now 37 out of 50. I created a new account and added a new place with 0 rating … it’s just weird!
My question is this:
Can I contact some support? Get an answer?
Or do you need to create a new account?
If sanctions are imposed on my account, why can’t I see it?
Why can’t I challenge this?
I really enjoy participating in the local expert program, what should I do?
During the COVID-19 and Lockdown situations, we all are facing many problems in our routine life, and because of the same reason, some issues ( temporary) we all can face in approval of edits and contributions on Google Maps.
Hello @armes
I find you already have fourteen place creations and two hundred and fifty-six edits to your credit.
Thus, your conclusion that the program is preventing you to add or create new places is too early.
And since you can create a post here, your account is active and sound.
However, if you have created a new account in your name, that’s against the rule and once detected, you as a person will be put under a ban through all the accounts. So, please take urgent action to exit the other account.
Regarding your apprehensions, the following are the findings.
You are creating short reviews and then these do not qualify for a badge. If the system expects two hundred characters, please develop a habit to exceed the requirement by triple the amount.
Sixteen of your reviews are now private. A review disappears from the public view if that contains non-confirming text as explained in this maps user-contributed content guidelines. https://support.google.com/contributionpolicy/answer/7422880?hl=en#:~:text=We’ve%20developed%20these%20content,has%20a%20positive%2C%20beneficial%20experience.&text=Contributions%20must%20be%20based%20on%20real%20experiences%20and%20information.
Please edit the private reviews to remove the objectionable material.
Next, to have success in place creation, I suggest the following steps.
Click a photo of the place which displays the frontage clearly.
Suggest an edit while on the spot.
Build a good trust score first by earning successful edits through data correction.
Believe, with these actions you would be able to overcome your anxiety.
Hi, @armes , Welcome to Local Guides Connect, and thanks for reaching out. I checked your profile, and I didn’t find an SVTP badge on it. However, being an SVTP is not the reason for some of your edits haven’t been approved. I invite you to read the articles that @KashifMisidia kindly shared for more information. Maybe you’ll also like to read this another one:How to be a Street View trusted photographer while also being a Local Guide
As @C_T advised you, having more than one account is againstLocal Guides Program Terms and Conditions (please check the 15). Regarding the badge, C_T also gave you the correct information: you should have 50 public reviews with more than 200 characters as one of the three requirements.
@AlexandreCampbell Sorry, I forgot that SVTP is on the account of the company where I work. From that account we publish 360 photos. Realy i don`t have google trusted photographer status here. ARMES is my personal account. Maybe because I both had them on the phone at the same time I had these problems? But they have different phone numbers and I go to that account if they ask me for example to uload 360 photo.
Since you have access to the phones of your wife or friend, the easiest way to do so is: Open the contribute tab on your phone and reach all reviews. Similarly, access your profile on your friend’s phone. Then compare each review on both the devices. What you can’t see on the friend’s phone will be private.
Hi, @Borzooeimorteza Everyone has faced some delays in having their editions approved due to the quarantine, but Google has been working to normalize it. However, there a lot of factors that may affect the capacity of Google Maps to check your suggestions (your region, your historic, geolocation, etc.). By my own experience as a Local Guide, what I try to do is add as much information as possible to help this process. It’s a good idea to follow the two threads shared by @KashifMisidia to learn more about that.
I just wanted to say that your post has a Russian language label. Please note that I’m going to remove the label because you didn’t write in the Russian language.
