No How tos or questionnaire section for Local Guides

Dear Team,

The new connect interface looks cool. I have a simple question as per the post subject, will there be any how tos section for local guides to get help or help forum will be the only option?

Edit:After selecting category, a new pop-up comes up and it is the most appropriate category. Do all the topics will be posted under tips & tricks?

Changes I have noticed - Kudos have been replaced by Like button, post creators can see changes between original & edited post (not sure about other users) and a timeline horizontal line added for longer posts.

Issues: I have not received any email right after creating this post or getting a reply from Morten.

Suggestions :

  • What If we could have a separate category for the how-tos?
  • The typing box is very small and can be extended a bit.

Hi @deepakjhic

Questions related to Maps have an obvious home in the category called Google Maps tips and tricks.

When it comes to Connect related questions, we can use the new faq when it comes to redesign related questions or the category Learn more about Connect features. UPDATE: I just learned that the Learn more about Connect features is not where users can post questions. Sorry about the confusion.
UPDATE #2: The Google Moderators just informed me that questions related to Connect and sharing tips and tricks related to Connect should be posted in the Category Google Maps tips and tricks dispite they are unrelated to Maps. Please use the tags Connect forum and/or How-to as you see fit.

Now on Desktop. Hovering will show the exact time the last edit was made. Both clicks has no effect.
