In the modern era, tourism or any kind of travel has become very convenient and easy. The role of Indian Railways is highly commendable. Almost all major cities are connected by rail. My Prayagraj Yatra ended at Prayagraj Railway Junction, which is, A class railway stations.

The British Eastern Railway Company first introduced meter gauge train on the Allahabad-Kanpur line in 1859 AD and after the construction of the Naini bridge, it became the main junction between the Delhi-Howrah main line, which was commissioned around 1866. As well as, it became the headquarters of Northern Central Railway.
It has about ten platforms and all are facilitated recently with elevators, connecting bridges, food and utility items stalls, drinking water, wheelchair accessibility, sitting arrangements, RPF for safety, porters etc. This railway station can be accessed from North and South. It has retiring rooms, doormitory, waiting rooms, cafeteria and restaurant, booking office, toilets, parking, taxi and auto rickshaw service, parcel office for luggage booking, clockroom, pre-paid taxi service, and a lot of other notable services are rendered at this popular junction. It’s one of the major Hindu pilgrimages hence devotees and visitors are coming round the clock. It’s considered one of the busiest junctions during the Mahakumbh, Ardh-kumbh and Magh Mela, then special trains run to Prayagraj from everywhere.
Scenes at this railway junction is captivating because mostly pilgrims are arriving for Triveni Sangam Snan from every corner of the country remain excited.
Prayagraj is a renowned pilgrimage and a major tourists attraction so this Railway Station is serving to all passangers.
