Is anyone having problems with views counts on photo’s. On my last review i uploaded around 20 pictures but the majority have now views which is really unusual has i normally have a few views has soon has i have uploaded them. I have checked and they are all definitely live on the web. Im just wondering if its worth deleting the review and re uploaded everything.

Hi @Tom007 , welcome back to Connect after a very long time.
From what I can see in your profile your previous review is over a year old.
About a year ago Google changed the system for calculating views, and it is very common for the photos we upload to not have views for several days.
We’ve had numerous conversations about this topic over the past year here at Connect.
As a personal advice I suggest you avoid personal photos and similar photos, apart from that I confirm that your photos are visible.
Uploading them again would not bring any benefit

Thank you so much for the information about the uploads. In reference to the personal photos you mentioned do you mean the one with myself and a worker in the place i reviewed. If so do you think it would be best for me to delete that one.

Hello @Tom007, as @ErmesT said, it can take several days until we see the first couple of views. However, in many cases it takes even much longer!
In fact around 30% of my photos did not see any increase since February 2024 and ~20% (294) of my 1,502 photos uploaded since that date don’t show any views at all (yet?).
Furthermore, we found out some of the photos are neither listed under the All, Recent nor By me tab. In some discussion we called this “semi-hidden”
Since you mention “uploaded around 20 pictures”:
If I have have enough non-redundant pictures, I usually upload ten photos. From own experience, doing so increases the chance to get 2,3 or 4 semi hidden photos.
