Question: Best Parks near downtown Ottawa?

Hello :wave: I am looking for a good park that is in, near or around downtown Ottawa. I plan on driving, so I would like to park my car nearby; preferably for free. I would also like to be close to the water or with a view of the water. I know about Britannia Park and Beach and a few others, but looking for some other good options. I have been to a few other parks in the city, but with so many to choose from I am looking for some good recommendations. Basically, I am looking for a park where I can have a small get-together with friends, with a good view and that isn’t too noisy due to passing traffic. Welcome to Connect! I have never been to Ottawa but I used the function to Search for nearby places & explore the area on Maps. This is what I have found when I looked for parks downtown.
