Hi dear all friends,
I and my Co-host, @Gurukrishnapriya jointly present this RECAP…
(For more Photos Click Here)
Our systematic follow-up and personal reminders through social media platforms yielded very good results - we had almost 14 attendees and a few family members for the physical meet and more than a dozen LGs joined virtually. Unfortunately, our principal organisers of Chennai LGs, @Jose_G_Benjamin & @JohnPeter could not take part in this meetup.

On the meetup day, my driver drove me from Bangalore to Chennai in 7 hours. In Chennai, firstly, I visited a photography exhibition where our senior photographer & LG @jaisoncbe 's photo was exhibited; as I reached, LG Jaison also reached the venue and we spent almost an hour in the exhibition hall; one of his classic shots was selected as one of the exhibit - Congratulations, dear Jaison!!! I sincerely appreciate your great shot/talent!

Our Co-host Grukrishnapriya was already present at the gate, along with her daughter (request Guru Priya to specially convey our regards to her for joining us). Of course, almost eight LGs were present and others joined by around 4:15 pm. The rest of the RECAP will be presented by the Co-host.

It was a great privilege to co-host the “Chennai Accessibility Meetup” along with @TravellerG Sir. We had a good deal of knowledge sharing regarding Accessibility and Photography. The attendees of the meetup were a mixed type - a new bunch, some youngsters and a few seniors; it was really a very, very interesting, informative and interactive session. We shared our ideas and thoughts, about how to post the Accessibility features
/
in Google Maps and help the society at large.
The meetup venue, Anna Nagar Tower Park, was an amazing one (Here). It had a big Tower in the centre surrounded by numerous trees. This Tower was constructed in the mid-1970s for a ‘Japan International Industrial Expo’. Unfortunately, there is no lift and hence the tower top is not accessible
, though the surroundings and the garden are accessible.
At 5 pm IST, we also connected virtually with many of our Local Guides and showed the Anna Nagar Tower Park from the top of the Tower. The attendees enjoyed the panoramic view of the Chennai landscape from the top of the Tower.
