Sabang Street is one of golden triangle culinary in Jakarta especially in Centre of Jakarta. It’s about 1 km street full of culinary from street food until restaurant level. We began ou

r food crawl from Nasi Gandul Khas Pati. Nasi Gandul or Gandul Rice is a traditional food from Pati, Central Java. Nasi Gandul is coconut milk sauced white rice combined with beef that became his side dish. The texture of the food also feels unique because it is served on a banana leaf. Gandul name was taken from the rice sellers who used to sell by carrying. Rice brought by hanging or gondal-gandul in Javanese language. But over the times, sellers of Nasi Gandul by the carrying should be rarely found. Now sellers generally settle in a shop.

Hi Mbak @ns_septi @UlyTheresia @RizkiPutra @dara_windia @jeepsy

Perjuangan dijalanan selama 3 tahun sangat membekas.

What a lovely post @ns_septi ! Before even getting to the mid part of it, my stomach started growling, which doesn’t surprise me really as everything stated in your post sounds absolutely delicious. It’s almost impossible to go through this post without getting hungry.

I’m also happy to see so many familiar faces in the same place. Glad to know that you had a great time and that you tried so many lovely dishes.

@AngieYC , have you tried all of these dishes or some of them. I’m also curious to find out, which are your favorite ones.
