Recap: [Hybrid] India, January 05, Visiting Museums on the Pune Metro Aqua Line

Six Local guides from Pune gathered outside the Sambhaji Metro Station on JM Road.
Of these 4 local guides joined for the first time.

This was our weekly LG Meetup.

After visiting the museum, myself and @ShubhamWaman introduced them to the local guides program and showed them the Connect platform.

New local guides including @framesbysumedh engaged in updating the tea stalls and other small businesses on Google Maps.

One of the attendees at the meetup was Mr. Manoj Kumar Daniel, the General Manager of Pune Metro. We exchanged ideas on how local guides can collaborate to make both the Pune Metro and Google Maps better.

One of the ideas discussed was to use the Pune Metro for meetups wherein local guides could get complimentary tickets if they gathered in large numbers.

Another idea was to use Google Maps to figure out last-mile connectivity spots by mapping the nearest places commuters travel to when using the Pune Metro.

All attendees were treated with complimentary tea, sandwiches, and an India LG Keychain.
