Good evening
I am trying to add some places and suggestions on Google Maps, and they are being rejected despite being accurate.
Please provide information on the reason.
After you add an edit to Google Maps, it’s reviewed by either local operators, an automated system, or both to ensure the information is accurate and follows Google guidelines.
As your edit is rejected, that means Google unable to confidently verify the information you shared at this time.
For more details please visit the link: Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?
@ahmedmano716 there are many reasons why submissions of new places are rejected. Without knowing any details of what exactly you submitted and how exactly you did this, it is impossible to figure out what could have happened (e.g. if it was a school: there currently seem to be restrictions in place for anything related to education).
The entire process going on behind the scenes is actually quite complex. If you want to learn more about it, you could listen to this posdcast episode
