How to apply Road construction or flyover construction work

Hey brother, you can edit the roads by going to Contribution → Update Road.

Try with following steps,

  1. Report Road Construction on Google Maps

If you’re aware of road construction or need to report a closure to help others, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Maps on your mobile device or computer.

  2. Search for the specific location where the construction is happening.

  3. Tap on the location or long-press on the map to drop a pin.

  4. Tap on the location name at the bottom.

  5. Scroll down and tap on “Suggest an edit”.

  6. Select “Change name or other details”.

  7. Provide accurate information, such as:

Road closure details.

Expected duration of construction.

Alternative routes, if applicable.

  1. Tap Send or Submit.
  1. Suggest a New Road or Infrastructure Update

If a new road or flyover has been constructed and isn’t yet on Google Maps, you can suggest adding it:

  1. Open Google Maps.

  2. Tap the Contribute option (bottom menu).

  3. Select “Edit Map” > “Add or fix a road”.

  4. Draw the missing road or flyover accurately on the map.

  5. Provide details such as:

Road name.

Type of road (under construction, new, etc.).

Additional information (like one-way or two-way).

  1. Tap Send or Submit.
  1. Report a Road Closure or Update

If a road is temporarily closed due to construction, report it:

  1. Go to Google Maps and search for the road.

  2. Tap on the road or location to open its details.

  3. Tap Suggest an edit > “Close or remove”.

  4. Mention that the road is closed due to construction and provide details.

  5. Submit the report.
