Thali is an assortment of Indian delicacies served on a single platter.
There is no street in any city of India that does not have a food joint that serves a Thali.
In short the Thali is loved by all.
No need to decide which food to order.
The thali contains a variety of Indian breads, curries, chutneys, salads, drinks, and sweets. Thalis are sometimes limited and some are unlimited.
In the unlimited version, one can keep eating to your heart’s desire and they would give you a refill at no extra charge.
My recent Thali experience was from no other than Google - courtesy of @Latika_Malhotra Ji
Ich finde diese Servierart auf den runden Platten hervorragend und ich habe dies erst durch eure Beiträge kennengelernt. @TusharSuradkar
Die Speisefotos sehen alle samt gut aus und die Challenge eine schöne Idee
Here is Kolhapuri Kharda Mutton Thali I had in Baner locality in Pune. Kharda Mutton is spicy speciality of mutton made mainly with smashed green chillies (Thecha in Marathi), and no other spices. This tastes spice but delicious.
Check out my review of Kolhapuri Thaat on Google Maps :
Thali consists of goan staple food Rice, fish curry and chonak fish fry (white snapper). This restaurant also serves chapati, bhaji, kismoor, solkadi, papad, pickle and goan sweet dish mangane.
@TusharSuradkar As you mentioned Thali is a variety of dishes served in a single platter. And its really save our back when we are in a new place and couldnt decide what to order. I am also like to share a Thali’s pic with everyone Although it is not from any restaurant.
