Hi @dotcompals

The auto-connect feature has been removed from the Street View App long time ago. If you want to connect your 360 photos now you should use a third party software, as explained in Publish & connect 360 photos with the Street View app

If you want to create a Blue Line you actually have two different options:

Hi @dotcompals there is an blue lines issues been for almost a month ago, Google isthey fixing it. You can publish a single 360 photos this time via GSV app. If you shoot a blue lines by away or another, and you are uploading your shooting, just wait till it fixed . Even here my blue lines are not working correctly, and it’s a global issues.

Have a good luck

Hello @AngieYC I believe @dotcompals is not asking in how to connect or create a VTs or Blue lines!!. As I read his post, I understood he is already know and published his Street View shooting, but he is not seeing his Street View shooting on the Maps , or is not working correctly! His problem that he can’t see his Street View shooting, not how to create a Street View / Blue lines.

I am tracking this issue ( Blue lines ) not working on the Maps globally for a month ago as I am a TSVP and a blue lines shooter and know this issue from my SV support. They are still fixing the issue.

Hello
Thank you for your informative replies @ErmesT , @OSAMA_1 and @AngieYC

As Osama pointed out the issue is not with the connections, I am using a thridparty app to connect my 360 panoram shoot using GoPro Max and upload to Google street view.

Once uploaded, its showing as individual spheres but not as Blue lines. Hope the fantastic google team will fix the issue soon.
thank you
cheers…

Thanks for clarifying, @dotcompals , and thanks @OSAMA_1 for pointing out the issue.

As Street View is no longer supported in Local Guides Connect, I suggest you to stay tuned in the new Street View trusted Help Center, accessible to Trusted Photographers only. In the news and announcements section the team is frequently highlighting the knows issues, and informing when an issue has been fixed.

Should you be not able to access the new Street View trusted Help Center, please let us know, and we will tag a Google Moderator for granting the access to your profile.

Thank you @AngieYC for tagging me and for moving the post in the right topic

Great job @dotcompals

Just a few tips for you, to improve your contributions:

  • Fix your camera a bit higher, as in this moment half of each 360 is occupied by your car. @OSAMA_1 created an amazing self made stand for fixing the camera over the car, I’m sure he will be happy to share the link of his post here.
  • For everyone’s privacy, you should blur faces and car plates
  • Some of your 360 seems to be misaligned. This can be an issue when creating a blue line, because a blue line is accepted and made visible only when the 360 photo is very close to the position of the road in Google Maps

@ErmesT thank you for those tips.

  • Yes, I am trying to place my cam higher. Still looking for a good tool to get my GoPro Max to atleast 2 feet height. Another option for me is use two wheelers for shooting. In fact i already done many km using a two wheeler. Example
  • Bluring faces - I have done this on so many of my previous blueline tours. In this particular one, that’s missing. I will edit those and reupload soon.
  • I will check thos misalignments also.

thank you very much for the help.

Ok @dotcompals since you still below 200 KMs and less than 8K quality of your Blue lines shooting, then you are not supported to access the New Trusted help center for SV photographers. You should meet the requirements.

Please check my handmade car mount

Thank you @ErmesT

I suppose what you mean is that it is not possible to have individual support, @OSAMA_1 , if you don’t have reached 200 Km with 8K quality.

But indeed @dotcompals can access the Street View trusted Help Center, to be updated about the evolution of the program and to read the news and announcements section and the reports about the known issues.

Knowing that you are not the only one involved in an issue can at least be “pain relief”

@ErmesT yes , but @dotcompals not supported to drop a question , unless he meets the requirements to get a special support

I am not supported in one to one too, @OSAMA_1 , because most of my 646 Km are in 360 at 5.6K or in photo-paths, but the possibility to access the Help page give me the opportunity of being updated about evolution and changes in the program

Last recent Blue lines issues were not announced in the help center @ErmesT .

We knew about the issues when we contacted them ( Street View Moderators ) told them that blue lines not working globally. Then they started to investigate the issue that remains almost one month and still in fixing.

Thank you for talking
