Supporting Small Businesses: Momo Shop

Hello Friends,

I am back again with an intent to re-emphasize the way we Support Small Businesses as a Local Guide. It is our social and moral responsibility to support small businesses by all means and it becomes more useful when we do so through the use of Google Maps.

In my first post in this series of Supporting Small Businesses I have explained as what sort of small businesses we can support and how to support them. Under What section,

Momo shop/stall and Shoe repair shop

are another small business which can be considered to support.

What

and How

Whenever I visit Atta Market in Sector-18, Noida, I land up visiting this quite popular Momos shop. It is popular amongst youngsters and people like me who has to get it packed for the home. Afterall, we all need family support to be an effective Local Guide.:grinning: This shop is known as Aunty Momos. They serve varieties of Momos including steamed and fried both in Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian category.

They have the standup arrangement for eating at the place but usually I opt for take away option to avoid the rush. In the evening time, this shop is full of crowd and at times it takes 30 minutes to one hour to process order to delivery task.

Keep building a well-informed community stronger :muscle: together.

Stay Happy, Stay Healthy!

JAI HO!!!

Momo shops are more common in Delhi NCR compared to Pune and Mumbai @Kumaarsantosh
I’ve seen this when living in Delhi for 5 years.

The same is true for Idli shops in Bengaluru and further down south.
In Pune, Mumbai, and Maharastra, there are endless Vada-Pav shops.

Many momo shops are literally roadside and temporary. Leaving those aside, I agree with you that we should support these businesses that are plentiful on the ground but do not necessarily exist on Google Maps.

So adding them on Maps and then reviewing them is the best way to support small businesses. I will follow this method when I am in the market the next time :+1:

:joy:… you are right dear @Kumaarsantosh … family SUPPORT is very important.
Well, I prefer freshly-hot food and takeaways we need to re-heat… which I don’t prefer much…of course, for the family it’s important…:+1::two_hearts::gift_heart:

Well said @TravellerG. Re-heat is not good for health and hence Momos from this shop is being consumed without re-heating. Steamed Momos are fresh for at least 30 minutes if packed well and before that it reaches to the food lover at my place. :grinning:
