Earlier this month, I recapped the 10 most reviewed places on the map by Local Guides and I loved reading your responses! So, I thought I’d share the 10 most reviewed restaurants by Local Guides, too, along with some awesome food photos added from each location. Did your favorite make the list?
30,000+ reviews alone for Hofbräuhaus München - incredible! Never been to any of these but if I could I would go to Haveli because I love Indian cuisine.
These dishes are literally mouthwatering, I’m not surprised that these were the most reviewed restaurants. I could’t pick only one of them, I would try all.
@kmajewski , this kind of informative post is awesome! Do you check the number of reviews one by one, or you have some other method from the backend? As I wanna know my city (Hong Kong) most reviewed restaurant too!
And you posted this too late, I missed those restaurant when I visited those cities.
Yay! I can’t believe 2 restaurants from my country AND province made the list. One from my city too.
I love Manolo! They sell great churros and their dishes are enourmous. The last time I went to Mar del Plata I visited most of their branch offices. I couldn’t get enough.
Even though I heard many great things about El Ferroviario and their great asado and good prices, I haven’t been there yet even though it has been on my Want to go list for a while.
I have also been in Hofbräuhaus München, it’s an awesome place and their dishes are delicious. I left a 5 star review there, but I saw many bad reviews because of bad experience with their service. People love writing 5 and 1 star reviews so I get why it’s number one on the list.
Thank you for sharing, @kmajewski ! It was really interesting to know.
can’t believe Savour food made it to the list. wicked
Savour food is great if you are looking for Biryani/Pilau options.
Anyone travelling to Pakistan, I strongly recommend Monal, hands-down. You get the most exotic views and great quality food if you manage to get a table for dinner.
I know a local guide from Islamabad, who is definitely going to be very excited going through this post. @AIMAN_SAEED
In fact I wouldn’t call the Hofbräuhaus a restaurant, but more a bear hall with some food offers. But indeed it is nice to be there from time to time.
@MiaMaria , as I come soon back to Munich and will be available from time to time over the weekdays, we should organise a meet up there… What do you think?
Thank you for collecting all these photos of delicious dishes @kmajewski ! It is always nice to see your posts.
I haven’t visited any of the restaurants because I haven’t been to any of these countries yet. All the dishes look amazing.
I wanted to share my favourite restaurant in Sofia, which happens to be top rated by Local Guides. I like the atmosphere, service, interior, food, the people who go there, everything. I usually go there when I like to have a bite of something extremely delicious. The place is called Shtastlivetsa (The Lucky Man).
Here is a photo of a famous dish, served there. Very tasty and a must try!
Great post @kmajewski ! I’m loving all the photos of these restaurants although I’ve never been to any of them yet.
My most favorite place ever was in Saint-Tropez Dior Dec Lices where I’ve tried their dessert and coffee. They make it with such style and precision that you don’t want to ruin it and the taste is on another lever.
There’s a thing about french desserts, they don’t only taste great but they also look amazing.
Sometimes (perhaps, when its your first time trying a new french dessert), you’re like wowwww but don’t even know where to start from and mostly everyone on the table are like "I am waiting for you to make your move"
I totally agree @OmerAli ! I love all French desserts, from flan, brulee, macarons and many others. Every time I’m in France I try something new and it’s never disappointing. Which is your favorite French dessert?
