When attempting to write a review for a any place on Google Maps, an error message appeared indicating that the place could not be reviewed. The message stated “This place can’t be reviewed” and no further explanation was provided. This was frustrating as I wanted to share my experience of the place with others. I have attached a screenshot of the error message… and here an example link for a place i can’t review…

I don’t have any issue in reviewing the place
I’ve just made a test, now deleted
Please check your internet connection, make sure to have the last version of the App, and clear cache and cookies.
Then try again

I just tried to add a review. And I was successful:
Keep in mind I will immediately remove my review since I never visited the place.
So I do not get the same error message you shared a screenshot of.
This likely means that the issue is related to your account and not so much the place. You could try again to see if it was a temporary glitz. And please, check that you are logged in on Google Maps. Otherwise, we are unable på add photos and reviews.
