Tour Diaries - Kawadiya Hills Dewas

Hello Friends. Some days ago I made a plan with my Local Guide friend @Jafir_01 to have a trip of Kawadiya Hills Dewas. As on that day there was my Birthday and I want to go for a trip with my friend. So we decided to go to Kawadiya Hills Dewas Madhya Pradesh. It is 95 kms away from the Dewas District headquarters.

Kawadiya Hills is a place in Udainagar Tehsil of Dewas District of Madhya Pradesh state. This place is not so much famous but it can be considered as the 8th Wonder of the world. This place is famous for its Pentagonal and Hexagonal shaped stones which are very rare in the world. Generally this rocks are formed by the volcanic erruption but the fun fact is there is no volcano nearby this place. Then how this rocks are formed is still a mystery. Some people also says that this rocks were bring by Bhim in Mahabharata period. On beating the stones with any rod makes a hearful music. That’s why they are also known as Musical stones. This hills comes under Vindhya Forest Range and this place is presently comes under the forest department of Madhya Pradesh state. This place is not too much developed as a very few people visits here.

Now Coming back to the story.

We have started our Journey from Dewas and we visited Bilawali Mahakal Temple, Bijasan Tekri Sannod, Muhada Valley view Point, Jeelani Darwaza, Muhadeshwar Hanuman Ji Temple, Lotus Valley, Dhobghatta River and before 3 kms from the Destination the road was ended and on rest of the way we did off roading.

Finally after Off Roading we finally reached Kawadiya Hills and did sightseeing there.

After visiting Kawadiya Hills our Main task was to cross the Vindhya Range before sunset because after sunset crossing jungle and mountain is very dangerous. Then I ride the bike very fast and before sunset we crossed the Vindhya Range.

So this was about Kawadiya Hills Dewas. I wish you all like this post.

5 years ago My friend @Jafir_01 painted this painting based on Kawadiya Hills in Dewas Mahotsav. And finally we both got the chance of visiting Kawadiya parvat.

First of all, happy birthday @LovePathak28 !

The stones is really amazing! Do you have a chance to touch this hexagonal stone? What’s like?

Hello @NunungAfuah . Thank you so much for your heartful wishes  . Yes we touched them and also stand on them because full mountain is made up of that stones and rocks only. If you try to beat them with a road or any small stone they create a wonderful musical sound :musical_note: . And every stone produces its own sound.

Nice to meet you

Love from India :india: :revolving_hearts:

नमस्ते @Shrut19 जी

जी मैं अपनी खुद की बाइक से गया था क्यूंकि वह ग्रामीण क्षेत्र है और वहां जाने के लिए बस बहुत कम चलती हैं। और ग्रामीण क्षेत्र है तो वहा रेंट पर बाइक शायद ना मिलती हो।
