You may know and Osaka is famous for okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes) which is not sweet at all. It’s savory pancakes that contain cabbage, flour, seafood or pork (depends on your choice).
When I went to Osaka the other day, one of my friends, living in Tokyo, was visiting Osaka and she wanted to try Okonomiyaki. So we went to Mifune that is popular for okonomiyaki. It’s a pretty old restaurant but the taste was good
Here’s a many and I don’t think that they have an English menu or in other languages, unfortunately…but the menu is pretty simple. They have okonomiyaki and you need to choose from pork, beef, squid, octopus, shrimp, or mix.
If you want to try Japanese pancakes, visit Osaka

@Annachan16 I love Okonomiyaki! Delicious, rich, crispy, crunchy, creamy, chewy and everything in between. I think sometimes some shops put some yakisoba on top or something like that also?
I never try okonomiyaki before. But it definitely looks delicious, @Annachan16 . I’m sure Indonesian would love it too since we like to eat deep fried cabbage (but it wasn’t fried with flour batter).
Just curious, how do you find beautiful place like this? Do you search it using Google Maps’ recommendation, or by word of mouth?
Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for your next story
@StephenAbraham ohhhh, I’m glad to hear that you like it! Where did you try it? I think it’s called Hiroshimayaki with okonomiyaki plus yakisoba
