Maps rejection of Wild Cattle Walk hiking area

Hello, can someone pleae tell me why this is getting rejected? The photo does state the name and nature of the hiking place I am trying to add to maps. Help please, thank you.

Hi @Teana_K

Maps Users can not add areas on Google Maps. Only staff can.

Such data issues are better dealt with in the Maps support forum.

Hit the Community tab at the top and make a post. You need to attach or link to official documentation supporting what you are proposing. Copyright-free governmental maps are probably the best proof you can attach.

Without such official documentation you will not be successful.

Sorry, I meant add place, not area. I have added 460 so far on Maps, this is one that I would like to be added. Thanks for the tip, I'll go there now!

Hello @Teana_K and I'm sorry for my late reply. 

While @MortenCopenhagen is correct in that you cannot add areas on Google Maps, in actual fact you are not adding an area but a trail so my guess is that there is some other reason why your add is being rejected and without knowing all the possibilities that you might have tried I cannot advise.
