Mitarashi Dango (みたらし団子) is a sweet rice dumpling, skewered onto a bamboo stick over a low hearth. Usually, there are three to five dumplings on a skewer and covered with a sweet soy sauce glaze. If you are lucky and can eat it fresh off the hearth it will taste more amazing. Best enjoyed with delicious Ueshima iced coffee, in my opinion!

@Stephanie_OWL Japan not only has good food, but excellent coffee shops as well. Did you know that 60% of Jamaican Blue Mountain is sold right here in Japan? The coffee and dango is my OWN personal favorite, most locals never eat dango with coffee.
