I was not on Connect back in 2017 but I don't think a moderator can change this status.

Let's wait for someone from Google or an older and knowledgeable moderator to comment on this.

I am tagging moderator @NareshDarji who has been on Connect since the beginning.

At a personal level, and not as a moderator, my suggestion would be to post a new topic in the travel category with latest photos and updates.

I am sure many things have changed in the past 7 years at that place.

I will agree with @Tushar_Suradkar and adding more that All the old boards were read only since December 13,  2018:This board is now read-only

Feel free to start a new thread on Connect, and you can link the old post as a reference.
