                     As a Local guide I'm trying my level best to make my local area map better. I understood that team work makes it more productive and energetic.This meet up was my long cherished wish. As a result of  lot of home works , researches in "Local guide connect" and communication with so many other local guide communities ( Kerala Localguides and Guides world ) I could fulfill my wish by conducting the first #Localguide meet up in a famous cafe  called “Parippuvada Vibhavashaala " at Nileshwar in Kerala, India .

There were six attendees and meet up began with self introduction . Each attendee shared his great experience very enthusiastically .

 After the introduction I presented the possibility of local guide program in helping people around the world. The presentation was very helpful for the beginner Local guides to get a clear cut idea about the functions of Google map.  The presentation which I got from Local guides connect  enriched my knowledge and enhanced the quality of our meetup.

The presentation file that I used in the meet-up was shared by @TraciC  in “Local guides connect”. I extend  my sincere gratitude for her genuine support  for this venture. New Local guides like Maneesh, Akshay , and Sourav from my local area liked  it very much.

Then we had some warm discussion on several topics like the functions of contribution page, how to give a better review, how to add places , etc . After the discussion we moved on to the map editing session .
