The Whale Skeleton of Chilika Eco Park

Chilika Lake is the second largest coastal lagoon in the world and also a UNESCO World Heritage site. The lagoon is situated in the state of Odisha, India .

Chilika Eco Park  is a well maintained garden decorated with palm trees, beautiful green grass lawn, multiple sitting arrangements made of concrete and it is situated just beside the entrance to the Satapada Boating Point from where you have to take boat to visit around Chilika Lake.

The major attraction at this park is a 12 meter long skeleton of a whale which is on display here and placed inside a glass room. It is said by the local that the Whale was washed up on the shore near here in 2007-08.
