Why is there such a difference between LOCAL GUIDE ASSISTANT and MAPS?

To begin with, this is not an official app by Google for use by local guides, & consequently, the information may be unauthentic.
Second, I sense that while summing up, Maps ignores multiple views by a unique user. The app may be unable to differentiate that.
