Curious how to update your Local Guides settings? You’ve come to the right place. As of January 2021, you can update your Local Guides location and program settings from our new settings page as you will no longer be able to update them on the Local Guides site. Read on for specifics on how and where to best update your Local Guides program preferences.
Update your location
Today, we typically send you locally relevant emails and rewards based on the city selection you made when you first joined the program. You might have moved since then or perhaps you want to adjust for other reasons. To get the most relevant and personalized experience, we recommend confirming that your city is correct by visiting the new settings page. You can go here to change this information at any time.
Update your email preferences
If you’d like to change the types of emails you receive, or want to stop receiving Local Guide emails entirely, visit the new settings page. This link can also be found at the bottom of every Local Guides email.
Update your program status
Should you ever choose to change your status in the program, you can visit our new opt-out page on your desktop or laptop.
