With over 40,000 photos added to Google Maps, it's no surprise to learn that Jay considers photography his biggest strength as a Local Guide. Looking at his photos on Maps and posts on Connect, we couldn't agree more.

If you've ever been to Cupertino, his hometown, you have likely been helped by Jay's photos when exploring Maps. From the entrance, to the parking to the accessibility features to the food, Jay has got it covered with a photo! His creativity knows no bounds as he's been an avid supporter of Asian-owned businesses, creating lists on Google Maps such as List for Biryani Lovers in South Bay, Indian Grocery Stores Near Me and Indian Vegetarian Restaurants in SJ. On Connect, Jay has created series highlighting some of his personal passions, such as National Parks, and now, participating in (and winning) as many state challenges as he can.

Jay loves small businesses, especially food trucks. During the pandemic, he started taking more walks around his neighborhood and beyond as the restrictions started to ease in search of the best meals on wheels. "Folks there do really hard work, some trucks are just one person operation and they are stuck in a small area cooking and serving delicious food."
