Self-proclaimed as shy, Putri quietly navigates her city searching for the best spots to read a book with a cup of coffee and a snack. "Of course my favorite place is a library, but they are too formal," she said.

In 2021, she made it her mission to find and share information on what Indonesia calls "coffee libraries," or book shops with built-in cafes. While these spaces are rare in Indonesia, according to Putri, she has discovered at least five in her neighborhood that she frequents often. She posts detailed reviews rating everything from noise levels and cleanliness to coffee menus and coziness, all listed in a neat, numbered bullet list for easy reading.

Open public spaces are also high on Putri's priority list as a Local Guide. She posts descriptions and vivid images of her visits to mosques and gardens, two places where she finds inspiration. For these spaces, Putri indicates how easy it is to travel to these spaces, specifics on motorbike parking, and even where bathrooms are located.

"Being a Local Guide means a lot for me," she said. Her detailed work is appreciated by dozens of people in her local community online. But, she said, "my friends and family don't know I'm a Local Guide." You can find her thorough reviews on Google Maps, and maybe one day spot Putri behind a book in her favorite coffee library.
