Bere finds passion in sharing the Mexican tradition to the world. After the death of her father in 2020, she looked to the Local Guides community to find strength.

"My life has changed 360 degrees since personally it has been a very difficult year after the death of my father," she said. "During his life, he always inspired me to know places, remember each place in the best way and above all leave a mark and help local people."

As a way to honor her father, she cares deeply about doing just that, promoting her Mexican tradition and culture, and sharing it with others through her contributions on Google Maps. In an effort to promote her culture to others around the globe, she hosts meet-ups, contributes on Google Maps, and publishes informative posts on Connect.

An avid member of #TeamTacos, a group of Local Guides on a mission to promote Mexican culture, she also proactively participates in different challenges on Connect with other groups like #SalsasMexicanas. She's a huge proponent of supporting local businesses in her area. Through her participation in #TeamTacos, she regularly reviews different tortillerias in Mexico City, and has close ties to her local community and small businesses.

Throughout her photos and reviews, she always includes important and helpful information such as COVID precautions, storefront photos, accessibility related details so others can get the helpful information they need before visiting a place.
