In 2021, recovery from an emergency surgery caused discomfort anytime Zuhra walked. This also sparked a newfound passion for helping others.

She began taking daily walks in the garden, which turned into walks around her neighborhood. Zuhra started paying more attention to wheelchair ramps in shopping centers, accessible parking, and more accessibility options all around Kenya. "When I go outside, I am a Local Guide, " she reflects now. She created two detailed lists: Accessible Shopping Malls of Nairobi and Accessible Parks of Nairobi.

Zuhra strives for inclusivity in all of her reviews, pointing out what places lack while highlighting positive aspects that provide equal access to everyone. She wants all people, disabled and able-bodied, to "feel loved and recognized as a person who could make a positive impact in society." She is participating in the global project Accessible Life which she said "gives our beloved brothers and sisters who are differently abled a chance to visit places that are accessibility-friendly on Google Maps."
