David is devoted to using his influence through the Local Guides program to help others. Since the pandemic started, he began incorporating COVID-19 related information into his reviews on Google Maps. David regularly captures photos displaying hand sanitizers, updates to places that showcase spacing, and other COVID-19 measures that have been put in place by businesses.

In addition to his helpful contributions on COVID-19, he also focuses on adding accessibility information in his reviews. He makes sure to include if a place is well-adapted for those who need accessible parking spaces, entry ramps for wheelchairs, and more.

"The most important thing to me is to be able to help other users make better decisions about the places they visit," he said. I also sincerely believe that reviews and photos can help a lot of businesses, restaurants, hotels, or any businesses that have a presence on Google Maps. I like to say that each review is a gift that Local Guides makes to these businesses."

David is also passionate about supporting small local businesses through his reviews and lists on Google Maps. He's especially passionate about supporting independent markets, both indoor and outdoor, that offer fruits, vegetables, and other fresh items for sale.
