Local Guide Kashif is passionate about sharing the beauty of his country, Pakistan, with the world. He has hosted over 40 meet-ups, saying that in the past two years, "Virtual meet-ups were a silver lining through the dark COVID cloud. I got the best people as fantastic friends, all around the world through Local Guides virtual meet-ups. We shared knowledge, we shared our pain and difficulties; we calmed and encouraged each other. We were able to smile through the hardships because of virtual meetups."

Kashif is not slowing down one bit at all; this year he and three other Local Guides in Pakistan were invited to appear on a television program that focused on supporting small businesses and increasing awareness about accessibility information on Maps receiving national attention in Pakistan for his efforts.
