Naresh organized a large meet-up in India to celebrate Local Guides Connect's birthday, as well as several virtual meet-ups for friends around the world.

What is your favorite place, experience, photo or video you contributed to Google Maps this year?
I live in Gandhinagar, and one of my favorite places nearby is the Aquatic Gallery at Science City, Ahmedabad. Recently I organized a Local Guides meet-up there and it was a very memorable experience for me.

What advice do you have for other Local Guides?
The advice I would give to other Local Guides is to always post high-quality content when you contribute to Google Maps so that people can get accurate information. Help the small businesses around you. Also, connect others to the Local Guide community by informing them on what Maps has to offer.

What do you like most about the Local Guides community?
The Local Guide community is like my second family. I have received so much love from this community and its members and I have learned so much from my fellow Local Guides.

What makes a place or experience worth rating/reviewing?
In my opinion, it is worth rating or reviewing your personal experience at every place you visit. Our detailed reviews along with photos can be very helpful for people to understand a place.

What is your favorite feature of Google Maps?
I like adding missing places to the map, but since the road editor feature was added, it has become my favorite. I can connect remote villages with road connectivity.
