Before becoming a Connect Moderator, Adam loved sharing travel stories and photos with the Local Guides community. Now, Adam's adding even more to the platform by engaging the community with leaderboards and photo challenges that motivate others to improve their contributions on Google Maps and Local Guides Connect.

What is your favorite place, experience, photo or video you contributed to Google Maps this year?
Went there with my lady and it was a fun experience!

What advice do you have for other Local Guides?
Always have the highest level of integrity and aim to contribute and achieve the best that you can.

What do you like most about the Local Guides community?
Well I love sharing my travel stories and photos and did quite a lot of this before becoming a Connect Moderator. My message is always "quality is more important than quantity". I continually look for ways to engage with Local Guides at all levels and in all places, both big and small, across the world.

What makes a place or experience worth rating/reviewing?
I think all places and experiences are worth rating. You can always find something good even in the worst places and experiences. For example, my girlfriend and I recently went to a Tango school. My experience was not so good, frustrating and embarrassing to say the least. However, we laughed a lot and had a lot of fun, and the people were fab.

What is your favorite feature of Google Maps?
Adding photos of and places that aren't, but should be on Maps!
