Passionate, dedicated and caring are just a few words we'd use to describe Adrian Lunsong. Over the years, Adrian has actively contributed on both Google Maps and Connect. This year, his all-star community-building efforts shined during his recent move from the UK to Malaysia. Adrian is now able to connect folks across continents by creating written tutorials on how to write quality reviews on Google Maps, along with hosting extensive meet-ups (on topics like editing photos) with attendees from around the globe.

"On a global level, I'm still very much connected to the amazing community via Connect as well as on other platforms," he said. "The Internet has made it easy for us all to keep in touch via virtual meet-ups. Sure, we had to make some tweaks, but I think we've generally adapted well and even increased our participation online."

Among his many meet-ups, Adrian hosted a complex "Quiz Connect" game featuring Local Guides trivia with 10 teams that culminated in a livestream grand finale. He truly kept the community together at a time when it was difficult to and is even planning a virtual, global meet-up in December 2020.

In addition to his time spent building community online, he also creates helpful contributions on Google Maps, including great photos that have more than 166 million views.
