Tushar is a strong advocate of helping others, specifically those with mobility and vision accessibility needs. "The distinction between low-vision, vision-loss, and vision-impairment is blurred," he explained. "I and many others around me suffered great losses due to missed opportunities that came as a result of such disabilities. Over time, I understood the importance of making everyday places like hospitals, bus stops, banks, educational institutes and commercial places more user-friendly and hence accessible for the vision-impaired."

He has created a way to make accessibility information in his reviews and photos stand out: by adding a uniform list of available features and using the accessibility emoji.

This year, he created a series of meet-ups dedicated to improving the accessibility in his community in Gurugram during COVID-19. This campaign featured 12 different meet-ups focused on writing reviews of places like parks, public toilets, banks, markets and more. "Through my increased acquaintance with Google Maps this year, I realized that it is the best platform to reach out to more people in the shortest time and in the most effective manner to spread information related to accessibility and uncover places that already have accessibility features in plain sight but remain unnoticed," he said. He continues to inspire those in his community and around the world through his contributions.
