Samantha has been a longtime contributor of incredibly descriptive food reviews on Google Maps, from places with iconic falafel to ice cream that is sheer perfection. During COVID-19, she expanded her reviews to not only focus on the best places to eat, but also the safest options available for those in her area.

In her reviews, Samantha describes the different precautions businesses are taking at this time, from proper mask-wearing by the staff to the distance between the tables at restaurants. She also gives personalized accounts of her experience in order to inform others about the current situation at each place.

"As a Local Guide, I'm thinking a lot more about how to help keep businesses afloat during all of this," she told us. "I want to tell the community which places are open, reassure them when places are taking COVID seriously and keeping everything really safe, as well as help some newer spots find an audience. I want to help everyone feel comfortable, confident and safe."
