Ashley Sundquist continued her mission to help others in 2020, both on Google Maps and off. "Serving others with love is at the heart of everything I try to do," she said. Ashley has created many informative lists on Google Maps, including Emergency Shelter Locations in LA, Mental Health Resources in LA and Food Banks in LA, among others.

"I learned so much about our city's extensive homeless resources while I was building curated Local Guide lists," she told us, adding that she has been able to help some of her homeless neighbors "know where to go for services including job placement, shelter, addiction clinics and food banks."

She has also been leading a weekly community dinner for neighbors in need at her local Salvation Army. "Our team of 20+ volunteers serves a hot, delicious vegetarian meal for 150+ individuals in to-go containers to ensure social distancing," she said. "In addition to the meal, we provide masks, hand sanitizer, clothing and blankets. It's been a blessing to become friends [through this experience] with so many kind people in our city."
