Naresh is extremely active in cultivating community as a Local Guide and helping others above all. From participating in the Unity Walk India campaign to hosting over 24 meet-ups, he is dedicated to the Local Guides mission to help others find the best places to go.

"'Happy to help' is my life mantra," he told us. "The joy of helping others is different. I can help a larger community through Google Maps, which is why I decided to put my contributions on Maps. People can get correct and accurate information."

In 2020, he created many virtual meet-ups devoted to a variety of topics ranging from how to remove spam to how to write reviews of iconic monuments in his area like the Taj Mahal.

"My life has drastically changed because of the global pandemic this year," he said. "I have spent more time with my Local Guides community through Google Meet. We mostly worked on updating our local communities to help businesses and share the latest updates on COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government of India to make sure people find accurate information on Maps during this difficult time." His helpful spirit and attitude helped to create a better place for those around him this year.
