Lily is one of our Accessibility Champions, Local Guides who have been featured on Connect for their dedication to making the Map more accessible. She has made it her mission to include accessibility information in her reviews to help others navigate their city and make informed decisions about the best places to go. She regularly hosts meet-ups dedicated to making Google Maps more accessibility-focused. 2020 allowed her even more time to contribute.

"This new experience gave me time to return to Connect and also challenged me because I needed to think how I could still contribute to Maps," she said. "As I got free time at home, I started to join some virtual meet-ups with Local Guides."

She then started hosting her own virtual meet-ups in her community to spread the word about the importance of continuing accessibility updates on the Map, even during the pandemic. Throughout the year, she's continued to be positive through her actions, her outlook on life, and her willingness to help others.
