From writing helpful reviews on Google Maps and organizing meet-ups on Connect to creating podcasts to raise awareness about her efforts, Cecilia enjoys helping her community in multiple ways. "It started as a hobby, but without realizing it, that hobby has been transforming and now it is a very important part of my life," she told us. "In the Local Guides program, I found the space that I was looking for for a long time, where I feel that I can materialize everything that interests me and everything that I've always loved to do."

This year, she pivoted her reviewing in order to highlight places that are taking safety precautions for COVID-19. She also focused her meet-ups on discussing ways Local Guides can help at times like these. "Between all the meet-ups that I hosted during this time, the best ones were the ones that I organized in conjunction with other Local Guides," she said. "I think that co-hosting virtual meet-ups with other Local Guides was one of the best things I have experienced in recent months, which left me with a lot of learning and lots of new friends."

In addition to her great 2020 contributions and acts of service to others, she has been creating amazing lists about the best places to go in her hometown of Buenos Aires. These include lists like the best tourist places in Buenos Aires, kid-friendly places in Buenos Aires, and best museums in Buenos Aires, among others. As a member of #TeamArgentina, a self-organized group of Local Guides, Cecilia was motivated to create these lists to introduce her home country to the world.
