Sutapa B. made an incredible impact this year as a frontline worker and also remained dedicated to the Local Guides program.

She is a doctor for the National Health Service in London who has been working throughout COVID-19, all while being a single mum of two little girls. "I feel I was born to help people and enjoy doing it," she told us. "I chose a profession as a doctor so that I can assist the sick and the vulnerable."

In addition to caring for the health and wellbeing of others through her profession, she also pivoted her approach to writing reviews on Google Maps. She now includes social distancing guidelines made by businesses in her Maps reviews. "I understand and stress the importance of social distancing. As humans, we have to survive and need food and basic amenities. So, we might want to go out sometimes and doing so in a controlled, safe way can help everyone."
