Priyanka is committed to making positive change in her community and empowering others in the process. Passionate about putting women-owned businesses on Google Maps, she launched "Empowered Women Meet-ups" a few years back and continued through early this year. She also wrote a related series on Connect in early 2020 to encourage others to become involved and motivate them to contribute to the Map.

Once things started to change this year, she pivoted her contributions as well. She devoted her time in recent months to writing reviews of restaurants and places affected by the pandemic to raise awareness and help keep those businesses afloat. She also spent this time creating lists of mental health professionals to get this information to those who need it in her area.

Priyanka also launched a "Quarantine Cooking" series on Connect this year which was an informative, entertaining and engaging way to stay in touch with fellow Local Guides while most were at home. Her contributions span several categories and continue to inspire others around the world.
