"I began to review places in order to inform local families—particularly those with limited diets or disabilities—about venues that they could confidently take their family out to without having the drama of getting there, getting settled and then finding you couldn't eat there or there was no accessible bathroom, for example," she said.

Since travel restrictions were put in place this year, she became passionate about acting like a tourist in her own area in Australia. "Canberra really does have a wealth of things to do and see here, so I thought I should use this opportunity to get to know our own town the way we would show a tourist," she told us. "We've been trying to acquaint ourselves with everything Canberra has to offer. There are walking tracks (for good mobility days), places to take the kids to ride their bikes while we relax, [as well as] many cafes and restaurants, and a really great variety of galleries and museums."
